The new S&M Redneck Stem looks similar to the old one with a few obvious changes:

1. All thoses sharp nasty edges have been smothed and rolled. No more jagged edges to hit your knees on.

2. The pinch bolts that holds your stem tight to the fork have been changed. Instead of both boths clamping and facing the same direction, they face opposite eachother.The head of the allen keys are on different sides of the stem. It should hold tigher than the old model with this new clamping pattern.

3. The finishes of the stems are also different. They are now avaible in a new selection of finishes in addition to a few of the old popular ones.

4. The stem still retails for about $49.95 and comes with four extra allen bolts.

Our test rider already uses the old Reneck stem and has never had a problem with it. Considering the fact that the old stem worked great, we expect this new improved model to be even better.
