GT Piston 1 1/8 Threadless Stem

No matter where you go, odds are that you will find somebody with this stem. It comes stock on pretty much every GT Bike ever made. It is basic, simple, and effective. I have one because I took it off a Fueler that was in my garage. I used it to replace the other one that I had. What went wrong with it? The threads stripped. This happens alot to stems, so it isn't that major. I actually flip the front piece on the stem because the knurling dissappeared on the bottom. I don't own a dremel, so I flipped it. The fron of the stem only slips when I do some big, dumb, launch outs to flat, and has never drifted sideways. I dont really reccomend this stem to anybody as a main stem. It is a very good backup stem for whenever something breaks though. overall this stem is cheap and effective. 7/10
