    GT Kevlar Launchpad

Before you read this, let this be known. If you want to get a seat, and aren't sure which one to get, this is it. Ok, now along with the review.
I found this seat on the wall of a shop in Vancouver. It was sitting there being hid by all the S&M Cushion and Primo Hemmorroid seats. I asked to check it out, and felt that it was soft, tight, and cool looking. It was all black, and had a nice little logo on the back of it that reads
LAUNCHPAD. What I didn't know about this seat was that the fabric on the walls were a new to the BMX world type of material called Kevlar. It pretty much grips so hard it will make your bare legs scream for jeans, but I wear pads and pants, so no prob. The rails were also easily replacable, but you probably won't need to. They are 9mm Chromoly and will last just as long as your frame, if it's made out of the same stuff. The edges are curved so they hide the top of your seatpost and are nice for gripping with your knees for barspins and what not. I have been riding this seat for a long time, and have put holes in the sides of it. However, the kevlar stopped the holes from getting any bigger and the tightly wrapped seat cover did not unthread and destroy itself. The seat is still comfy, has not had to visit Mr. Ducttape and will probably sit there until It dies. As I said, this is the seatpost. I love it, and even the non-kevlar version is nice. This seat rocks! 9.5/10
