DK Iron Cross Sealed Pedals

When DK Came out with these pedals, riots broke out. The design of them was so wanted that people would dish out the 80 bucks for the sealed ones. They were burly, black, and had the Iron Cross on them. (The highest ranking officers for Germany are given the Iron Cross. It means that they are pretty much heroes.) The pedals feature 15 pins per side and grip like cages. The only problem was they weren't as light as others. Matter of fact, 1 pedal is equal to about 6 cages. With strength comes weight. Not always, but it seems to be the case with these pedals. I will put up photos of mine after I learned how to grind, and you will see that these are pretty much entirely solid. I don't believe there is much concave, if any at all, but if you take out the pins in the centre, you wont lose much traction but you will make a little bit of concave. If you like the Iron cross logo and want the strongest pedal out there, get em. Otherwise, maybe you want to save some money and get a lighter set. 7.5/10
